AMRAN, Dec. 29 - Culture Minister Abdullah al-Kebsi inaugurated on Monday a project to repair 30 houses in the old city of Sana’a in the Capital Sana'a.
During the inauguration, al-Kebsi indicated the importance of enhancing awareness between citizens and the State to preserve the architectural character of the city.
The restoration project is funded by Hayel Saeed Anam Charitable Foundation and its partners under the supervision of the General Organization for the Preservation of the Historic Cities of Yemen (GOPHCY).
Al-Kebsi said the aggression countries are seeking to eradicate the old city of Sana'a from the UNESCO World Heritage List to facilitate its bombing and its destruction.
