Gaza - Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas congratulated the brothers in Hezbollah in Lebanon on the election of His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem as Secretary-General of the party, succeeding the late Secretary-General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, may God have mercy on him, who lived as a mujahid and was martyred as a mujahid on the path to Qud.
The movement said in a statement today that we consider this election evidence of the party's recovery from the targeting of the leadership bodies, and we affirm our support for the new leadership of the party, and we ask God Almighty to help it continue the path of jihad and resistance, and to grant success to His Eminence Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, and to protect him and guide his steps in leading Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance in confronting the Zionist enemy and its colonial ambitions in Lebanon, Palestine and the region.
