The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday the control over the town of Vishnevoye in the Donetsk region.

The ministry stated, in a statement, reported by the Russian news agency "TASS", that "units of the Central Battle Group carried out active offensive operations, and were able to liberate the town of Vishnevoye in Donetsk."

It added that "the Ukrainian army lost up to 60 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the battle group in Dnipro on Saturday," indicating that "units of the Western Battle Group repelled five Ukrainian counterattacks during the past day.

Russian forces targeted a train loaded with armored vehicles for the Ukrainian army, energy facilities, workshops for the production of drones, and gatherings of troops and military equipment in 140 areas, and 47 drones were shot down.
