Ramallah - Saba:
Attacks on civilians, humanitarian workers and infrastructure facilities in Gaza should stop, the UNICEF Executive Director said on Sunday, after Israel had killed tens of relief workers and more than 43,000 civilians and destroyed almost all the Strip's infrastructure.

Israel needs to investigate the recent attack that targeted UNICEF staffer on Saturday in Jabalia, Catharine Russell added in a release carried by the Fund's website.

Last week saw bloody escalation in North Gaza Strip, where 50 children were reportedly killed in two days in Jabalia, she said, noting that all the civilians in Gaza risk to die of diseases, famine and persistent bombing.
