Ankara - Saba:
Turkish Trade Minister Omar Bolat confirmed that the customs system is completely closed to trade with the Zionist entity, and that Ankara will continue to meet the needs of the Palestinian people and support their just cause on the economic level.
Bolat explained in a post on the X platform, in response to allegations of the continuation of trade relations between Turkey and the entity, that the Turkish government decided on May 2 to completely suspend all export and import operations with the Zionist entity until a permanent ceasefire is declared and humanitarian aid is allowed to flow to the Gaza Strip without interruption.
He added that no customs declaration for export or import from Turkey to the entity has been registered after this date, nor have any shipments occurred from the entity to Turkey.
He continued: "According to the agreement concluded with the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy, exports are only permitted if the products go to a Palestinian party and the importer is Palestinian, and after official confirmation from the Palestinian Ministry of Economy that these products are used exclusively in Palestine."
