Ground Forces Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour emphasized that anti-Iranian intelligence and security services are behind the terrorist acts in the country's southeast.
"We have detailed information that enemy intelligence services have assigned terrorist groups to destabilize the region," Pakpour said during a meeting of tribal heads in Zahedan city on Monday.
"According to our accurate information, hostile intelligence services have held several meetings in some countries in the region and assigned terrorist groups to destabilize security in the region," he said.
Pakpour noted that a combat drone was used in the operation to eliminate the main terrorist elements who carried out the terrorist attack in Koharkoh area of Taftan city in Sistan and Baluchestan province a few hours after the incident.
