Gaza - Saba:
The World Health Organization teams were able to reach Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and succeeded, despite the extremely difficult circumstances, in successfully delivering medical and surgical supplies to him despite the obstacles and repeated Zionist targeting of medical supplies.
The representative of the World Health Organization in the occupied Palestinian territories, Dr. Rick Peeperkorn, said in a press conference held via video technology from Gaza last night, that Kamal Adwan Hospital was supplied with 150 units of blood and 20,000 liters of fuel, food and water, and 25 patients and 37 companions were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital.
He confirmed that there are currently only three doctors left in the hospital that was reached the day before yesterday (Sunday), including two pediatricians and a general practitioner, in addition to 30 nurses and 120 inpatients.
"Pepperkorn" pointed out that the organization's mission was able to reach Al-Awda Hospital on Sunday as well and transferred five patients and five caregivers to Al-Shifa Hospital.
He confirmed that it was not possible to perform any surgeries there due to the lack of electricity, and warned that this threatens to completely stop the hospital from working.
The Israeli occupation army continues its incursion into the northern Gaza Strip governorate, where the occupation has been launching a large-scale attack on the areas of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia and Jabalia for more than a month, and is imposing a tight siege on the areas of the northern Gaza Strip.
