The Russian Ministry of Defence announced on Thursday that it destroyed Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

The ministry said in a statement: ‘Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in Russian territory was stopped.’

It added: ‘The air defence systems on duty destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones: 14 over the territory of Voronezh province and one over the territory of Belgorod province.’

A few days ago, Russia announced the destruction and downing of 24 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, which were intended to carry out a terrorist attack on Russian territory.
