Beirut - Saba:
Acting head of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" in the Gaza Strip Khalil al-Hayya confirmed Wednesday that the movement "is closely following the details of the ongoing Zionist aggression for more than 410 days, which has crossed all red lines and everything expected from the barbarism of the modern century."
Al-Hayya said during an interview with Al-Aqsa TV "The Zionist aggression today is keen to kill life in the Palestinian people; it kills stones, trees and people, and reveals its true ugly face that it has hidden for more than 75 years, trying to beautify it under various claims, which it has marketed over decades and which the world, unfortunately, whether near or far, has believed."
He added: "Today, this Zionist aggression clearly reveals its truth, as it talks about its non-recognition of the existence of the Palestinian people, and publicly calls for their displacement. The enemy sees that it does not want anyone to remain in Gaza, and is trying to diagnose the issue in the resistance movement and Hamas to make the world think that the problem is confined to them only."
He continued, saying: "The occupation targets everyone, it strikes hospitals, civil defense, women, children, and the elderly. The enemy targets the entire Palestinian existence with one goal, which is to empty Gaza of its people and displace the Palestinian people to achieve their dreams of building a Zionist Jewish state on all of Palestine."
He stressed that "the enemy seeks to expand its ambitions outside Palestine, which is impossible, and will not happen, God willing. Today, this enemy reveals its true intentions in attempting genocide and displacement, but it will not succeed, and the Palestinian people will remain steadfast in the face of this unjust aggression."
Al-Hayya pointed out that "the Zionist aggression continues everywhere, from the north to the south, in the West Bank, al-Quds, the 1948 areas, and the Gaza Strip. The enemy is working to divide Gaza, targeting even wells and hospitals, preventing their reconstruction or restoration, and even continuing to bomb them, as happened in its recent aggression on the northern Gaza Strip."
He stressed that "the Zionist enemy separated the north of the Strip from Gaza City, in a malicious plan aimed at displacing the population and starving them to force them to surrender. This is the generals' plan, and today they are persisting in implementing it, while Netanyahu and his show group appear to assess what they have destroyed in the north, in preparation for developing future plans that contradict all human and moral values."
Al-Hayya said "The south of the Strip is no better; Rafah is now almost without residents, as the occupation controls it completely, and any Palestinian who approaches the north of Rafah is killed immediately. Dozens of martyrs fell in front of their homes due to this aggression, while the entire southern border area was destroyed, including more than 500 meters on the Egyptian border deep in Rafah."
He added "The occupation is expanding its operations to the central areas; in Netzarim, it has destroyed large areas reaching 6-7 kilometers, from Road 8 to the south of Wadi Gaza, targeting Nuseirat, in an attempt to secure its forces from the strikes of the valiant resistance. As for the east, the occupation has established what it calls a "security strip", during which it has destroyed more than a kilometer of housing along the eastern border of the Gaza Strip."
He explained that "these plans aim to reduce the area of the Palestinian population, and push them either to displacement or surrender. The enemy is practicing systematic killings by starvation, and refuses to provide treatment or even vaccinations for the children of the northern Gaza Strip. Our Palestinian people are being subjected to the most heinous forced displacement and ethnic cleansing, in a scene that history has never witnessed before."
Al-Hayya pointed out that "the Zionist enemy adds to its aggression a systematic and dangerous state of starvation, falsely claiming to the world that 250 trucks are entering the Gaza Strip daily, while the truth is that the number of trucks is much less; the occupation controls the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, and completely prevents trade during the months of October and November, and has closed the Rafah crossing since May 7th."
Baloul added: "Today, the Gaza Strip relies to a limited extent on the Kerem Shalom crossing, but the occupation determines the quantities and types of trucks that enter, which leads to a clear and dangerous state of famine witnessed by the world. International reports and the global media hold the occupation responsible for the famine, as the Palestinians are deprived of food and medicine due to the siege and aggression."
He continued: "The enemy is not satisfied with that, but turns a blind eye to the thieves and bandits who steal aid under its watch and hearing, which increases the suffering of the Palestinians. The Palestinian people today are suffering from starvation, displacement and killing in an attempt to force them to surrender, but this people is steadfast, refusing to submit to the aggression."
Al-Hayya concluded his speech by saying “The scenes of torn children, women screaming for their children, and the heart-wrenching destruction did not move humanity enough to stop these crimes. The Security Council is discussing a resolution for an unconditional ceasefire, but the American veto may obstruct implementation, reflecting American partnership in aggression and siege.”
