A soldier in the Lebanese army and five civilians were killed in raids launched by the Zionist enemy aircraft on several areas in Lebanon during the past hours.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Lebanese army as saying in a statement: "A march of the Israeli enemy targeted an army vehicle on the road to the Burj al-Muluk al-Qulaya in the south, which led to the martyrdom of a soldier and the injury of others moderately wounded."
An enemy raid on a house in the town of Ma'rakah killed two people, while another raid on a house in the town of Zefta killed three people.
In addition, hostile Israeli warplanes carried out a series of air raids, accompanied by heavy phosphorous and artillery shelling, targeting Naqoura, Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, al-Jabain, al-Mansouri, Qana, Aitit, Zabqin, Wadi Hamoul, Ain Baal, east of the town of Burj al-Muluk and Kafr Shuba.
The towns of Khiam and Sahl Marjayoun were subjected throughout the night and into the early hours of dawn to heavy artillery shelling, while enemy aircraft flew at low altitudes, launching thermal balloons and flares over the eastern sector of the south.
