Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Saturday evening that it hit the settlement of Meron with a rocket, and targeted a Merkava tank with a guided missile, on the eastern outskirts of the town of al-Bayadah, which led to its destruction, killing and wounding its crew.

Hezbollah said in a statement: At 07:00 on Saturday evening, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted the settlement of Meron with a rocket bullet.

A second Hezbollah statement read: At 07:20 this evening, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted a Merkava tank with a guided missile on the eastern outskirts of the town of Al-Bayadah, destroying it , killing and wounding its crew.

He stressed that these operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinians in Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant , honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
