SANA'A October 24. 2022 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today, on Monday, Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan, during the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Administration of the National Vision.
During the meeting, President Al-Mashat listened to an explanation about the preparations and arrangements made by the authority to hold the largest mass wedding for more than 9 thousand grooms and brides, which will be held in the capital’s secretariat and the provinces under the slogan “Together to immunize youth, facilitate dowries and confront the soft war.”
President Al-Mashat blessed the efforts of the General Authority for Zakat and its contributions in immunizing young people and helping them to complete half of their religion, as one of the most important factors in confronting the soft war and avoiding them falling prey to its malicious ends.
He directed all concerned parties and those related to the plan and its implementation paths, to work on implementing the activities and programs of the plan, each in its own right, at the forefront of which is the General Authority for Zakat, taking into account achieving its noble goals of immunizing young people and consolidating the spirit of compassion and social solidarity, which is one of the important doors of goodness for the stability of society and overcoming the side One of the difficulties faced by the Yemeni people as a result of about eight years of aggression and the US-Zionist-Saudi-Emirati siege on the country.
The President of the Supreme Political Council stressed the importance of submitting a comprehensive report to the Supreme Political Council on the progress of implementing the plan and any difficulties that might face the implementation tracks.
