President Al-Mashat meets with Presidency Office Director & Civil Service Minister

SANA'A January 24. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Tuesday with the Director of the Presidency Office - responsible for the administrative sector of the Supreme Committee for the National Vision Ahmed Hamed, and Civil Service and Insurance Minister Salim Al-Mughlis.
 
During the meeting, they discussed aspects related to dealing with administrative routine in the performance of government institutions and overcoming the difficulties facing citizens.
 
President Al-Mashat praised the official efforts made to address the administrative red tape, and said, "The Yemeni people have suffered a lot from red tape during the past decades, and they deserve to do our best to serve them and facilitate services for them."
He pointed out that the routine procedures in institutions are complicated, which creates difficulty for citizens in obtaining services.
 
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of the project to develop services and simplify procedures to address the administrative routine, and directed all public service units to interact and complete the preparation of their service manuals in accordance with the guide to developing services and simplifying procedures approved by the Ministers Council .
 
For his part Hamed responsible for the administrative sector in the Supreme Committee for the National Vision, indicated that there is a continuous follow-up of the development teams in the official authorities, pointing out that the training will continue for all state institutions, given the importance of the project in reducing the inherited red tape in state institutions.
 
While Al-Mughlis gave a presentation on the procedures undertaken by the ministry in the field of developing services and simplifying procedures and the guide for that.
He indicated that the outputs will include services, conditions, clear documents and simplified procedures for citizens.
 
He considered the project to develop services and apply it to reality as an important and essential step in the state's administrative reform program.
 
Al-Mughlis also reviewed a summary of 16 public service units that were trained on the guide, and the strides they have taken in preparing their service guides.
