SANA'A February 04. 2023 (Saba) -His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, made today, Saturday, a field visit to inspect the level of services provided to citizens in the capital's secretariat and Sana'a province.
President Al-Mashat, along with Advisor to the Supreme Political Council Muhammad Muftah, Mayor of the Capital Hammoud Abbad, Sana'a Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, and directors of service offices, were briefed on the progress of implementing road projects, improvements, traffic safety works, rainwater drainage channels, and other service projects
. He instructed capital mayor, Sana'a governor, and the directors of the executive offices to go to the field to see the practical reality, to diagnose the deficiencies and shortcomings in some projects, and work to address them.
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of enhancing level of public services, and paying attention to road maintenance, urging the completion of rain , torrential water drainage projects and cleaning the ready-made channels of dust before the rainy season.
He also stressed the need to develop solutions to reduce traffic congestion, pay attention to traffic safety, cleanliness and improve the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the capital, Sana'a, in a way that befits it as the capital of the Republic of Yemen.
The President Al-Mashat urged to educate citizens not to throw waste into rainwater and torrential drainage channels, as they cause blockages and water pooling in neighborhoods and lanes.
He also stressed the need to pay attention to afforestation, especially with the beginning of the season, and to be keen on afforestation in the streets of cities in the provinces, and to encourage citizens to do so.
He praised the achievements made in terms of cleanliness and roads, and urged honoring successful managers in their work.
