SANA'A April 05. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, condemned in the strongest terms the Zionist attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers and seclusion in it.
President Al-Mashat said, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We followed with great concern and pain the blatant attacks of the Zionist enemy forces on the Palestinian people and their desecration of the first two qiblahs and the second of the Two Holy Mosques, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the brutal assault on worshipers."
He stressed that Yemen's support for the Palestinian people and standing with all the free people of the nation is a principled, humanitarian, political and religious position that cannot be changed. He said, "We in Yemen, despite the current circumstances, look forward to having an active and practical role for the liberation of Palestine."
He added, "We in Yemen proudly look at the heroic resistance of the Palestinian youth to the Israeli enemy, presenting a witness to the steadfastness and will of the Palestinian people and the free people of the nation." He stressed the importance of the unity of the Palestinian position in the face of the attacks.
President Al-Mashat called on the Arab and Islamic countries to consolidate the state of hostility and discontent with the enemies of the Zionist nation and the Americans in their media and in the school curricula.
He urged the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation to boycott American and Israeli goods and support the Palestinian resistance to restore its rights and liberate every inch of Palestine from the Zionists' filth.
President Al-Mashat also called on the countries that were involved in treason and normalization with the Zionist enemy, previously and later, to review their accounts and to take the initiative to sever all relations with the Israeli enemy.
