SANA'A April 15. 2023 (Saba)- His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, briefed the state's leaders on the latest developments related to the talks that took place in the capital, Sana'a, during the past week with the Saudi delegation, in the presence of the Omani mediator.
President Al-Mashat, in the meeting he chaired today in Sana'a and included members of the Supreme Political Council, parliament Speaker, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense, said that the discussions were positive on many points.
President Al-Mashat indicated that it was agreed to hold a new round after Eid Al-Fitr, given the nature of the issues that were discussed.
He stressed that Yemen's hand is the highest and strongest if the aggression coalition, with America behind it think of resuming military confrontations and obstructing peace steps.
The meeting appreciated the distinguished and effective Omani role in establishing an honorable peace for the Yemeni people, and blessed the return of the prisoners to the homeland, calling for the release of all prisoners.
The meeting emphasized the importance of extracting all the rights of the Yemeni people, and that the aggression coalition should bear responsibility for everything that resulted from the aggression and siege.
He pointed out that the sacrifices made by the Yemenis are the guarantee of achieving victory, either through peace and meeting the just demands of the Yemenis, or through the military field in which Yemen has proven that it is capable of confrontation and victory.
The meeting also saluted the response of the Yemenis to the invitation of the Revolution Leader to participate extensively and distinctly in the International Quds Day in all arenas in the various provinces of the Republic.
