SANA'A August 05. 2023 (Saba)-The Executive Center for Dealing with Landmines and Remnants of War(YEMAC) revealed killing six citizens and the injury of 11 during the month of July 2023, as a result of the aggression remnants in a number of Yemeni provinces contaminated with these remnants.
The Executive Center stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that statistic included the cases that were reached and documented, while the Center received more than four appeals requesting intervention and rescuing victims in the contaminated areas during last July.
The statement stressed that as a result of the complete suspension of the center's activities by the United Nations, it was unable to continue field cleansing work and save the lives of civilians in the contaminated provinces and areas.
