RAYMAH September 11. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, praised the stance of the people of Raymah in fighting the invaders on the West Coast, which represents a history that cannot be forgotten.

President Al-Mashat said during his meeting with the leadership of the local authority and the executive office, members of the parliament and the Shura Council, notables, sheikhs, and social figures in Raymah province, “Just as you were a help and support to the men of the West Coast, I promise you that we in the leadership of the state will be a help and support to you in the affairs of your life and in your service.”

He pointed out that Raymah was the one that encouraged the adoption of the program of initiatives in all provinces.

He added, "On the occasion of the birth of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, which our great Yemeni people celebrate, and coinciding with the holidays of the blessed Yemeni revolution, we were honored to visit the people of this glorious province, which, God willing, will receive all support and attention."

The President pointed out the importance of embodying the patriotic spirit in its true meaning, which in the past were just loose expressions after we saw many of those who were lip service to them in the camp of invaders and occupiers. He said, “Patriotism is behavioral procedures that are reflected in your life, performance, and behavior, and if they are not combined with the spirit Patriotism is your identity and your affiliation to your religion. They are empty titles, and you will see yourself one day in the camp of the invaders, fighting against the people of your country, as we saw those who were in the past.”

He continued by saying, “When I sense the high morale of the people of Raymah in building and developing this beautiful province, I only interpret this as love for the homeland, which the Messenger of God said about: Love for the homeland is part of faith. That is our love for our homelands, that we build them, that we build the future of our generations, that we overcome difficulties and obstacles, and that we challenge them.” Life as challenged by your fathers and grandfathers who built the majestic dwellings along these plateaus and mountains.”

President Al-Mashat indicated that Raymah was the first to adopt the spirit of initiative and is also the first this year at the province level to implement community initiatives.

He directed the Central Interventions Unit to work in Raymah, with priority given to deprived areas.

He pointed out the necessity of moving towards production at the agricultural and industrial levels and at various levels.

He also directed the General Authority of Zakat to work to address unemployment and create job opportunities so that the poor and needy turn into a producer and not a beggar waiting for what comes to him from the Zakat Authority... stressing that Raymah people will be among the priorities of the Zakat Authority, which will direct a large part of its capabilities to create job opportunities.

President Al-Mashat said, "The aid will be for those unable to work only, if we want to build and transform into a productive people, which is what we seek, God willing."

He added, "We are in a conflict with our enemy over our country's sovereign revenues, and the enemy knows that we will build the country if we possess these revenues, and that is why we have been in a discussion over the sovereign resources for a year a half, and the enemy now insists on stealing them or enabling the country's thieves from the lower limits of them, but we will take our resources." We direct the revenues and resources of the country to production and construction.”

He stated that the Yemeni people were able to transform the challenges and difficulties imposed by the enemy into opportunities to build the country in the darkest circumstances.

The Finance Minister and the Intervention Unit directed the provision of ten air compressors to Raymah during this week... stressing that the state will be of assistance to the news of this province, which was deprived by previous governments and regimes.

President Al-Mashat also stressed the work to strengthen the infrastructure in the province, and directed that Raymah be connected to the national electricity grid so that the power from Hodeida province would reach it.

He explained that five water projects with solar pumping units, eight rainwater harvesting tanks with control rooms, a five artesian wells project and other projects that will be implemented this year at a cost of four billion riyals have been approved.

He stated that the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance will contribute to supporting 329 projects and initiatives in the fields of roads, education, agriculture, water and health, and there are many projects that will come successively through agencies and donors.

President Al-Mashat added, "We will, by God willing, rise to the level of responsibility in providing the needs of the people of Raymah province and achieving their aspirations from the glorious September 21 revolution."
