BAYDA October 15.2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone today for four service projects in the city of Radaa in Al-Bayda province, at a cost of two billion and 214 million riyals.
Where the President, along with the Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Muhammad Al-Ghumari, inaugurated the dialysis center project at Radaa Central Hospital, which costs 399 million riyals, as a community initiative from a number of donors and philanthropists.
President Al-Mashat listened to an explanation from the Governor of Al-Bayda and the Director of the Dialysis Center, Dr. Ali Abdullah Jaroon, about the components of the center, which accommodates 25 cases of dialysis patients, and its various facilities that serve patients with kidney failure.
Governor Idris and Dr. Jaroon explained that the project included the supply of 25 dialysis machines, 25 dialysis chairs, a water treatment plant for 25 dialysis machines, drilling an artesian well, a pump, a water network, and supplying wallets to the center as a contribution from emergency central interventions.
The President expressed his happiness at the opening of the dialysis center at Radaa Central Hospital because of its importance in alleviating the suffering of kidney failure patients in the provinces and its districts.
President Al-Mashat and his entourage also inaugurated a project to open, fill and asphalt the Mwakil-Sabah road at a cost of 962 million and 500 thousand riyals, with the support of UNEPS.
In addition, the President laid the foundation stone for two water projects in the city of Radaa at a cost of 852 million and 500 thousand riyals, which included the construction and installation of a central unit for integrated solar energy operating for all pumping wells centrally for the local water and sanitation corporation in the city of Radaa at a cost of 505 million riyals, and the implementation of maintenance work for sewer lines the main line and Radaa treatment station cost 247 million and 500 thousand riyals.
President Al-Mashat explained that the opening and laying of the foundation stone for a number of projects in the city of Radaa in Al-Bayda province coincides with the Yemeni people’s celebrations of the Yemeni Revolution holidays of September, October and November and the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
He expressed his happiness at visiting Al-Bayda province, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for a series of service and development projects, and learning about the conditions of citizens and touching on their concerns in light of the circumstances the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
The President affirmed that Al-Bayda enjoys the support and attention of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, in exchange for the positions of the people of Al-Bayda and the steadfastness of its proud tribes in defending Yemen, its sovereignty , independence, and the sacrifices they made in defeating Takfiri elements.
