The national team conducted its exercises and training in its internal camp in three periods daily starting on October 15, under the supervision of the team's technical staff led by national coach Dr. Caesar Alami and his assistant Maad Al-Hadidi. Twenty-five players representing the team's initial list participated, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
During its internal camp, the national team played three test matches, during which the technical staff was briefed on the levels of the players, and selected the best 15 players to play the second phase of the preparatory camp, which will be determined later according to the new date for the Arab Championship for teams, which will be announced by the Arab Football Federation at a later time after announcing its postponement last week.
It is noteworthy that so far, two countries, Libya and Tunisia, have submitted a request to host the Arab Basketball Championship for teams, and the Arab Federation is still studying their files and has not yet announced the new date for the Arab championship or the host country.
