Today, an extensive consultative meeting was held in Sana'a attended by directors of youth and sports offices, presidents of first and second-division clubs, heads of branches of the Football Association in the governorates, and several sports leaders.
The meeting addressed the current state of sports activities and explored methods to enhance Yemeni sports, as well as to invigorate the function of the ministry's branches, clubs, and sports federations within the city and provinces.
The participants welcomed the invitation from the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Mawlid, to hold the Football Association's electoral cycle in the capital, Sana'a, on November 30. They appreciated the decision to cover all hosting expenses, emphasizing that conducting the event within the country will enhance the success, integrity, and transparency of the electoral process and simplify its procedures.
The meeting reviewed the demands of the clubs, their delegates, and the branches of the Football Association in the governorates, regarding the holding of transparent and fair elections for the Board of Directors of the Football Association, which the Board of Directors of the Football Association announced on November 30 in the State of Qatar.
