Bethlehem - Saba:

A number of Palestinians, including schoolchildren, were injured today during a raid by Israeli forces in Husan village and Al-Khader town, located west of Bethlehem. Reports indicate that several individuals suffered from suffocation due to tear gas.

Rami Hamamra, director of the village council in Husan, informed the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israeli troops stormed the area around local schools as students were leaving for the day. The soldiers fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs, resulting in injuries among students and residents.

Hamamra also noted that occupation soldiers forced shop owners in the al-Matina area on the village's main street to close their businesses and restricted movement for both vehicles and pedestrians.

In al-Khader town, a local source reported that Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods, particularly the old town and the vicinity of the Grand Mosque. The troops again used live ammunition and tear gas, leading to further injuries among residents.

Shop owners in al-Khader closed their doors out of fear that Israeli forces would throw gas and sound bombs inside their establishments, leading to a halt in commercial activity and disruption of daily life.

This incident is part of a troubling trend, as Israeli forces have intensified their raids in Husan and al-Khader, severely disrupting the lives of residents.
