Tokyo - Saba:
The Japanese Ambassador to Palestine, Yoichi Nakashima, confirmed that his country is considering the possibility of recognizing the State of Palestine in the United Nations in order to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, in light of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The unilateral practices of the Zionist entity hinder the establishment of the State of Palestine, Japanese media outlets quoted Nakashima today, Saturday, as saying, adding: "The international community is convinced that there is no solution except for the existence of two states, Palestine and "Israeli".
"The noticeable increase in the number of countries that recognized the State of Palestine contributed to a greater desire among the countries of the world to achieve the principle of the two-state solution," he added.
The Japanese ambassador pointed out that the Palestinians are living in very difficult circumstances due to the ongoing Zionist war, stressing Japan's support for the UN resolution calling for an end to the Zionist occupation of the Palestinian territories.
