Moscow - Saba:
Vasily Golubev, Governor of the Russian Rostov Region, announced today, Sunday, that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 16 Ukrainian drones in the region's airspace.
Sputnik Agency quoted Golubev as saying in a statement, "The Russian air defense forces repelled a massive enemy air attack," explaining that "16 drones have already been destroyed over the territory of the Rostov Region - in Novoshakhtinsk, Kamensk and the Ust-Donetsk region."
The Rostov Region Governor added that there were no casualties or damage on the ground, while Russian forces continue their work at the site of the drone crash.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are targeting, almost daily, the Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh provinces with drones and missiles, with the aim of sowing terror among civilians.
