The Palestinian Prisoners and Liberators Affairs Authority revealed today, Sunday, that "the Zionist Prison Administration imposed retaliatory punishments against Palestinian women detainees in its prisons, and deprived them of the most basic humanitarian elements.
The Commission said in a statement that "its lawyer was able today to visit a number of female detainees, whose number reaches 95," adding that "the detainees conveyed to the lawyer a picture of what they face in prisons."
The Authority indicated that "the Zionist Prison Administration authorities deliberately imposed additional retaliatory punishments on the female prisoners, by depriving them of the most basic humanitarian elements, including clothing, food and treatment."
"The prison administration has completely isolated the female prisoners from the world, in addition to the shameful searches, beatings and oppression to which they are subjected."
The Commission indicated that "the majority of the female prisoners were arrested after October 7, 2023, and administrative detention orders were issued against them (without trial)."
Since the outbreak of the Zionist aggression, Palestinian and international human rights organizations have talked about the deteriorating conditions in Zionist prisons, especially in Sde Teiman.
It is noteworthy that the number of arrests, more than 11,500, from the West Bank, including East Al-Quds.
