Gaza - Saba:
Hamas and Fatah have agreed to form an administrative committee for Gaza Strip, an official source of Hamas said on Monday, after delegates of the two Palestinian movements held a round of discussions in Cairo.
Hamas presented a detailed plan for the committee's work, missions and powers, the source added in remarks carried by Palestine Today agency, as Fatah delegate asked for time to consult the movement's leadership, which requires later meetings and follow-ups.
President of the Palestinian Authority is expected to issue a decree on the formation of the proposed committee that would consist of technocrat figures.
The committee will be tasked with relief and civil affairs in Gaza Strip, as well as supervision of the crossings.
