Kuala Lumpur - Saba:
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim revealed that his country is preparing a draft resolution to be submitted to the United Nations General Assembly to expel the Zionist enemy entity from the United Nations due to its continued violation of international law regarding Palestine, especially the ongoing aggression on Gaza Strip.
Ibrahim said in a session of the Malaysian parliament on Monday that the process of negotiations on this draft is underway, and it is expected to be submitted to the UN General Assembly for approval.
Ibrahim explained that if the General Assembly adopts the draft resolution, it will pave the way for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to continue providing assistance to Palestinians in the occupied territories and in the diaspora.
At the end of October, Malaysia joined the core group that prepared the draft resolution, which seeks an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding the need for the Zionist entity not to obstruct the activities of UN organizations.
