Gaza - Saba:
The United Nations humanitarian coordinator in the occupied Palestinian territories, Muhannad Hadi, on Wednesday described the situation in one of the displacement sites in northern Gaza as miserable and unfit for human beings.

In his first visit to the area since the start of the recent Israeli military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, Hadi said: "This is not a place for human beings to survive, this misery must end and the war must stop, the situation is beyond imagination."
"I heard horrific stories from the people I met in northern Gaza," he added, emphasizing that "no one can stand what the people in Gaza are going through.

Hadi continued: "These are the victims of this war, these are the ones who are paying the price of this war - the children around me here, the women, the elderly."

He continued: "What I saw now is completely different from what I saw in northern Gaza last September, in this school, 500 people were living there, and now there are more than 1,500 people, there is a lack of food, sewage is everywhere, waste and garbage is spreading." The UN official also visited a temporary education space called Al-Nizk in the destroyed Al-Jalaa Street north of Gaza City.

The UN official also visited a temporary education space called Al-Nizk in the destroyed Al-Jalaa Street, north of Gaza City, where tents have also been erected to provide a minimum level of education and a safe place for neighborhood children to deal with the horrors they have experienced since the start of the war in October last year.
