Hezbollah's Operations Room announced, in a statement on field developments, that "the Islamic Resistance fighters continue to confront the Zionist aggression on Lebanon, and are inflicting heavy losses on the enemy army in terms of its equipment and number of officers and soldiers along the confrontation axes at the front edge, reaching its locations deep inside occupied Palestine."
Hezbollah said in its statement: "The ground confrontations: On 10-28-2024, the Zionist enemy army forces began advancing towards the town of Khiyam with large numbers of individuals and vehicles, and with heavy air cover over the entire area surrounding and overlooking the town.
After carefully monitoring the possible paths of advance, the Islamic Resistance fighters prepared a fire defense plan, the main pillar of which was missile and artillery fire through a large number of simultaneous and focused targeting of the enemy’s movements, positions, and paths of advance inside Lebanese territory and in the occupied interior.
