French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot confirmed that the European Union may soon impose new sanctions on extremist Zionist settlers.
"We have imposed sanctions at the national level against settlers who carry out acts of violence, and sanctions at the European level," Barrot said in a speech at the Paris Peace Forum yesterday, Monday.
"We played an active role in establishing the (European) sanctions system that has already been activated twice, and it may be activated for the third time soon," he added.
