Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi advised US officials to test the idea of ‘maximum rationality’ because it is in everyone's interest, saying that the ‘second version of maximum pressure’ will lead to the ‘second version of maximum failure’ for the United States.
Araqchi wrote on the social network ‘X’ on Tuesday evening: The first version of the ‘maximum pressure’ policy inevitably faced ‘maximum resistance’ and ultimately led to America's ‘maximum failure’.
He added: ‘Do you want proof? As just one example, compare the status of Iran's peaceful nuclear programme before and after the so-called “maximum pressure” policy.’
Araqchi continued: The pursuit of the ‘second version of maximum pressure’ will only lead to the ‘second version of maximum failure.’
The foreign minister added that the best idea is to test ‘maximum rationality’ - This is in everyone's interest.
