The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf condemned, on Sunday, the dangerous statements of a member of the so-called Knesset for the Likud party in the Zionist enemy entity, Avichai Povaron, who demanded the nationalization of the Ibrahimi Mosque, control it and put it fully under Zionist sovereignty.
According to Palestinian media, the ministry confirmed in a statement that these statements come within the dangerous systematic policy of the enemy government, which is working seriously to seize this Islamic holy place, which is internationally recognized as an Islamic endowment owned by the Palestinian people.
It called on international human rights and UN institutions concerned with world heritage, such as UNESCO, which considers the Ibrahimi Mosque among the World Heritage Lists, and the Palestinian people in Hebron governorate to stand firmly against the implementation of these plans that threaten the identity of the sanctuary.
