Ramallah – Saba:
Abdul Rahman Shadid, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, said that the valor of the resistance in Jenin and the occupied West Bank is an indication of its strong resilience in the face of the crimes and oppression of the Zionist enemy.
In a press statement carried by the Palestinian Information Center on Tuesday, Shadid mourned the martyrs of Jenin, "the heroes and all the martyrs of the Palestinian people." Stressing that the "legendary" response of the resisters to the enemy's incursions, and their "fierce" armed clashes, confirms that "the revolutionary situation will not be extinguished by the arrogance of the enemy and the settlers, but will remain a flaming fuel until the occupier is defeated from the land of Palestine and its holy sites.
On Tuesday, three resistance fighters were killed in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in armed clashes with enemy forces that continue to storm the city, amid widespread destruction of infrastructure.
"The violent armed confrontations and clashes in Jenin with the occupation forces reflect the bright image of our resistant people, who do not surrender or give up their rights at all costs," Shadid said.
The Hamas leader stressed the need to support the resistance fighters and protect them by all available means. He pointed out that the resistance will remain the impregnable fortress of the Palestinian people, and will defend it against the crimes of the enemy with all its strength and solidity.
He explained that the policy of assassinations pursued by the enemy against the resisters would sprout more revolutionaries, who carry the flag after them and complete the road to freedom and return.
