The House of Representatives, in its session today, chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, reviewed several reports issued by its parliamentary committees, and postponed their discussion to future sessions in the presence of the relevant government agencies.
The Board discussed the report of the Education and Scientific Research Committee on the revenues and expenses of the Fund during the period from 2020 to September 2023, which included observations on the extent of the government's commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Council.
The report of the Development, Oil and Mineral Resources Committee dealt with the losses suffered by the facilities of the Yemen Oil Company as a result of the bombing of the Israeli enemy aircraft in Hodeidah, including details of direct and indirect losses and the committee's recommendations.
The Transport and Communications Committee reviewed its report on the performance of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for the period 2021-2022 and stressed the need for the presence of the Ministers of Finance and Communications to discuss the required clarifications.
Council member Dr. Ali Al-Zanam asked the Prime Minister of the Change and Construction Government about the failure to implement the Council's recommendations regarding the complaint of the management of Al-Khamseen Hospital, demanding that he attend to respond at the earliest session.
The Council approved the minutes of its previous meeting and decided to continue its work tomorrow.
