Leftist Orsi wins presidential elections in Uruguay

Montevideo - Saba:
The leftist candidate, Yamondo Orsi, on Sunday won the second round of the presidential elections in Uruguay, bringing the Left back to power.

Despite his deteriorating health, Ex-president José Mokhea (89) saved no effort in making his wide publicity at his political heir's disposal.

The history professor, Oris (57) who comes from rural setting, won 49.8 percent of the total votes; his rival gained 45.9 percent.

The elected president promised to call for national dialogue in order to find the best solutions, by "following our envision, but also through listening to others."
