Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Eng. Moeen al-Mahaqeri visited on Monday the Yemeni factory for manufacturing and filling gas cylinders.
Minister al-Mahaqeri pointed out that the visit comes within the framework of the economic stimulus program and the plan to localize industries adopted by the Government of Change and Construction within its program.
He stressed the ministry's keenness to support such projects that will contribute to advancing the national economy, enhancing self-sufficiency and reducing the import bill according to available capabilities.
Al-Mahaqeri praised the technologies included in the factory, and what he saw of keenness to meet quality requirements so that the product is able to compete with imported products.
The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment listened from the factory's executive director, Eng. Ahmed Ezz El-Din, engineers and technicians to an explanation of the factory's products of gas cylinders, maintenance services and procedures followed according to the highest standards of quality, security and safety.
He explained that the factory's daily production capacity reaches one thousand new cylinders, and the maintenance of another thousand cylinders, which contributes to covering local needs.
