Beijing - Saba:
China launched the Long March 2-XI transport rocket carrying two optical observation satellites (Siwei-Gaojing-20-3 and Siwei-Gaojing-20-4).
The transport rocket was launched from China's northwestern Jiuchuan Space Airport at 7.39 Beijing time (2.39 Moscow time) on Monday, November 25.
Chinese television did not give any detailed information, except that this was the 547th launch of the Long March transport rockets.
Siwei-Gaojing satellites are affiliated with China Siwei Survey and Mapping Technology, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. These instruments provide optical Earth observation data used in surveying and mapping, disaster prevention and mitigation, and monitoring of conditions at sea.
