Seoul - Saba:
Heavy snowfall for the second consecutive day in South Korea has killed at least four people, canceled dozens of flights and stopped ferries.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported today, Thursday, that this wave of snowfall is the third most severe wave of its kind since records began in 1907, as more than 40 centimeters of snow accumulated in parts of the capital, Seoul, leading to the cancellation of more than 140 flights.

Authorities pointed out that 99 ferries were suspended, and Incheon Airport, Seoul's main airport, was the hardest hit, with passengers experiencing delays of two hours on average, 14 percent of flights were delayed, and 15 percent of them were canceled.

In the same context, the Korean Railway Company said: Train traffic on some lines was disrupted by the weather, and workers cleared snow and branches from the tracks.

The metropolitan government used more than 11,000 employees and about 20,000 pieces of equipment to clear snow from roads.
