The School Nutrition and Humanitarian Relief Project launched on Thursday in Bajil district in Hodeida province, the distribution of food aid to families affected by the torrential rains in the district.
The aid, funded by the World Food Program (WFP), targets 2,238 people affected by the floods in the district as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of families whose houses were destroyed.
During the distribution, the head of the educational sector in the directorate, Mohammed Othman Sajid, praised this assistance and efforts to alleviate the suffering of those affected, especially all of them from poor groups that require support.
