The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Amran University announced today the announcement of the Third Annual Medical Conference of Obstetrics and Gynecology, scheduled to be held during the period 12-13 February 2025.
During the event, the First Undersecretary of Amran Governorate, Abdulaziz Abu Kharfasha, stressed the importance of supporting medical scientific activities that contribute to improving the health of the community and promoting medical education. He also praised the role of leadership in supporting the health and education sector to achieve a comprehensive renaissance.
The President of the University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Dhalai, pointed to the importance of the conference as a modern scientific reference in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, stressing the university's interaction with the surrounding environment and its promotion of scientific and academic research.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Eryani, Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the Conference, explained that the conference will be a platform for exchanging medical experiences and discussing specialized scientific papers that contribute to the development of the medical and academic sectors.
Dr. Zainab Al-Khazan, Chairperson of the Scientific Committee, reviewed the themes and objectives of the conference, pointing to the discussion of issues facing medical staff and the importance of cooperation between different disciplines to serve patients.
The conference will witness the participation of a group of doctors and experts locally and internationally and will present working papers highlighting scientific developments in obstetrics and gynecology.
