Iran, Europe agree to continue diplomatic dialogues

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced on Friday after his meeting and consultations with the European Troika, that Iran and Europe agreed to continue diplomatic dialogues in the near future.

Abadi wrote in a post on "X": "A new round of talks was held with political officials from France, Germany and Britain.

During the meeting, the latest bilateral, regional and international developments, especially nuclear issues and lifting sanctions, were discussed and evaluated.

He added that Iran is firmly committed to pursuing the interests of its people, and its give priority to the path of dialogue and interaction.

He continued it was agreed to continue diplomatic dialogues in the near future.

Yesterday, the Iranian delegation met with Enrique Mora, Deputy High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, in the Swiss city of Geneva, to hold talks and consultations.

Kazem Gharibabadi wrote about this meeting: We had a frank dialogue with Enrique Mora on a range of issues, including the prospects for nuclear negotiations and lifting sanctions, in light of the new developments.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the European Union must abandon its selfish and irresponsible behavior towards the issues and challenges of the European continent and international issues.

Mora was clearly informed that Europe should not seek to export its problems and mistakes, including those related to the conflict in Ukraine, by placing the consequences on others.

He pointed out that the three European countries, with their complicit behavior towards the genocide in Gaza, have lost any moral position that would qualify them to advise others on human rights.

Gharibabadi concluded his speech by saying regarding the Iranian nuclear file, Europe has long since moved away from its role as an influential player, due to its lack of responsibility and self-confidence. Europe needs to rediscover itself.
