BEIRUT - Saba:
Zionist enemy soldiers opened fire on residents of the town of Khiyam near the border in southern Lebanon, while they were mourning one of the town's sons, two days after the ceasefire came into effect.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported on Friday that four Zionist tanks invaded the western neighborhood of Khiam, and a Zionist artillery shell fell on the town, while the Zionist enemy occasionally conducts machine gun searches.
The ceasefire agreement went into effect on Wednesday, and the Lebanese army deployed in the south reported that the enemy "violated" the agreement several times over the course of two days.
Yesterday, the Lebanese Army said in a statement: "On 27 and 11/28/2024, after the announcement of the ceasefire agreement, the Zionist enemy violated the agreement several times, through air violations and targeting Lebanese territory with various weapons."
