SANA'A December 13. 2022 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a number of service and development projects in the capital Sana'a.
The service and development projects include in the fields of roads, surface bridges, rainwater drainage channels, sewage and other service projects.
Al-Mashat inaugurated work on 49 service projects in the Capital, including projects for surface bridges, stone paving, street rehabilitation, maintenance of rain drainage channels, and solar street lighting.
He stressed the state's keenness to implement service and development projects that serve the Yemeni people and alleviate its suffering, especially in light of the continued the US-Saudi aggression and blockade.
The President also confirmed the need to implement projects in accordance with specifications, standards and quality, pointing out that the opening and laying of the foundation stone for service and development projects comes within the framework of the state and the government's interest in collecting the available capabilities to improve the infrastructure of the Capital Sana'a.
Al-Mashat also stressed the importance of renewing rainwater drainage channels and the establishment of caravans that will ensure that rainwater reaches the capital Sana'a, stressing the need for the capital Sana'a not to witness any accumulation of water in the streets and tunnels during the rainy seasons.
The inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for service and development projects in the capital Sana'a coincide with the anniversary of the martyr 1444 AH.
