SANA'A January 23. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Monday, with Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Abdullah Daris.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of work in the ministry and its affiliated institutions and sectors, the level of implementation of its plans and programs for the current year, as well as the supply conditions for oil derivatives and domestic gas.
The meeting dealt with aspects of coordination with the concerned authorities to provide the citizens' needs of domestic gas, of which the local market witnessed a shortage during the past two days, and an attempt to fabricate a crisis to increase the suffering of citizens in light of the continued aggression and siege.
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of concerted efforts to overcome the challenges facing the workflow of the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated institutions and units.

He stressed the need to work to achieve a stable supply of domestic gas and to meet the needs of citizens of this substance related to the citizens' daily lives .
