SANA'A January 23. 2023 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat met here on Monday with the advisor of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tarb.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on the national scene, the latest of which is the escalation of the economic war by the Americans and the British to double the people's suffering, especially in the southern areas.
President Al-Mashat affirmed that the US-British aggression coalition is revealing openly and clearly through the British ambassador that these 2 countries are behind the criminal economic war against the Yemeni people.
"The recent British declared position proves the involvement of the United States and United Kingdom behind the economic war, including the policies of the blockade, starvation and the price hike."
President Al-Mashat said that such policies compound the people's suffering, especially in the southern occupied areas in particular.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Tarb reviewed the devastating effects on the occupied areas, especially the southern ones, as a result of the economic war escalation by the Americans and the British.
