SANA'A January 25. 2023 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council - Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Mahdi Al-Mashat met here on Wednesday with Minister of Defense Major General Muhammad Al-Atefi.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of preparing and training the armed and security forces, hailing the full readiness of the armed forces to defend the homeland at any time.

He also praised the achievements of the armed and security forced, who have managed to foil the plans of the aggression over the past eight years, saying that they have represented the finest model of sacrifice to defend Yemen and its sovereignty and independence.

President Al-Mashat pointed to the Yemeni army's strong faith and high patriotism that enabled it to confront the largest aggression that Yemen has been exposed to in its history, praising the development of the army's individuals capabilities and its locally manufactured weapons.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat and Minister Al-Atefi discussed several issues related to the preparation and training of the armed and security forces.
