The President, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance of the caretaker government, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Musawi, the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Muhammad Al-Ghamari, and the Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Major General Abdul Latif Al-Mahdi, were briefed on the work progress of the National Dairy and Food Company.

President Al-Mashat heard from the director of the dairy company, Ali Aklan, the director of the plastic unit in the plastic and cement company, Abdul Karim Qasim, and the supervisor of the Taiz sector in the factories of Hayel Saeed Anam Rabei Basel Group of Companies, to an explanation of the workflow in the company that works in the manufacture of dairy products and its derivatives, legumes, sponge and plastic products. , modern irrigation systems, tissues, and the manufacture of biscuits and sweets.
They explained that the company employs thousands of male , female workers and provides the bulk of the needs of the local market, and contributes to achieving food stability, in addition to the fact that it has trademarks and is widespread in local and foreign markets, and holds international certificates in the fields of quality, environment, occupational safety, good manufacturing, and food safety.
The directors of factories at Hayel Saeed Anam Group of Companies expressed their gratitude for the visit of His Excellency President Mahdi Al-Mashat to see the progress of work in the factories and their production units, considering the visit to reflect the extent of President Al-Mashat’s interest and encouragement for national industries.
The President stressed interest in national industries and encouraging national capital to invest locally in various aspects, thus contributing to moving the wheel of development, contributing to supporting the national economy, and working to stimulate and encourage national industries to replace foreign industries.
