Beirut - Saba:
The Lebanese Hezbollah operations room announced that the toll of losses for the Israeli enemy, according to what was monitored by the Islamic resistance fighters, has exceeded 90 dead and more than 750 injured among the officers and soldiers of the Israeli enemy army since the beginning of what the enemy called the "ground maneuver in the south."
This was stated in a statement from Hezbollah's operations room, issued this evening, Monday, indicating that in addition to these losses, 38 Merkava tanks, four military bulldozers, a Hummer vehicle, an armored vehicle, and a troop carrier were destroyed, along with the downing of three drones of the "Hormuz 450" type and one of the "Hormuz 900" type.
The statement clarified that this toll does not include the losses of the Israeli enemy in bases, sites, military barracks, settlements, and occupied cities.
It confirmed that the Islamic resistance fighters, based on accurate intelligence data, continue to confront the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy's army in terms of equipment and personnel across the confrontation axes at the front line, reaching its positions deep in occupied Palestine. The past few days have witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of daily operations by the Islamic resistance, with a new record of 48 operations recorded on Friday, October 25, 2024, since the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
Regarding the ground confrontations, the statement clarified that the surroundings and some neighborhoods of the front villages of Al-Haffa in southern Lebanon at the Lebanese-Palestinian border witnessed numerous attempts by the enemy Zionist army to advance towards these villages in recent days to occupy and control them. The Islamic resistance fighters confronted these attempts at more than one axis as follows:
• Axis One: The operational area of the enemy's 146th division, extending from Naqoura in the west to Marwahin in the east. The enemy forces made some infiltration attempts towards the southern neighborhoods of the villages of Marwahin, Al-Dhahira, Yarin, and Al-Matmourah, aiming to rig and blow up houses out of fear that they would be used by the fighters. They also set fire to the brush between the towns of Alama Al-Shab and Al-Dhahira. The Islamic resistance fighters confronted these attempts and targeted the enemy’s concentrations and advance routes on the outskirts of the town of Marwahin and south of Al-Dhahira with appropriate weapons, inflicting heavy losses on them in personnel and vehicles, which forced the enemy army's command to significantly reduce the number of troops in the 146th division in this axis.
• Axis Two: The operational area of the enemy's 36th division, extending from Ramya in the west to Rmeish in the east (including Aita Al-Shab), and from Rmeish to Aitaroun in the east. After precise intelligence monitoring of the movements of the Israeli enemy around the town of Aita Al-Shab and some of its neighborhoods, the Islamic resistance fighters ambushed a Zionist force that advanced towards the "Abu Al-Laban" height east of the town early on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Upon the arrival of the force at the ambush point, the resistance fighters engaged the enemy officers and soldiers from zero distance, and the clashes extended into the afternoon hours. The fighters who participated in the ambush confirmed the fall of more than five dead and dozens of wounded, whose cries echoed in the area. On the other side, when some enemy groups attempted to advance toward the center of the town of Aytaroun from the eastern neighborhoods, they were targeted by the resistance fighters with heavy rocket fire and repeated artillery shells, resulting in several casualties among them, forcing the enemy forces to retreat to less exposed areas.
• Axis Three: The operational area of the enemy's 91st Division extends from Blida in the south to Hula in the north. The Islamic resistance fighters lured a Zionist force reinforced with a Merkava tank toward the eastern neighborhoods of the town of Hula, targeting it with a guided missile, which resulted in its destruction and burning, killing and wounding its crew and the force fortified behind it. The fire support unit of the Islamic resistance also targeted enemy gatherings and concentrations at the edges and within some neighborhoods of the town of Hula.
• Axis Four: The operational area of the enemy's 98th Division extends from Markaba in the south to the occupied Lebanese village of Ghajar in the northeast. The resistance fighters managed to destroy several enemy tanks that attempted to advance in recent days toward the town of Adaisseh, as well as targeting enemy concentrations and gatherings in and around some neighborhoods of the towns of Hula, Markaba, and Rabat Thalathin. The resistance focused its fire in the past two days on enemy concentrations and gatherings around the Fatima Gate at the Lebanese-Palestinian border opposite the town of Kfarkela.
• Axis Five: The operational area of the 210th Division in the enemy's army extends from the village of Ghajar to the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms. Resistance fighters targeted numerous attempts to advance in the outskirts of Kfarshouba and Shebaa using rocket weapons, in a repeated and intensified manner, aiming to control the heights. The enemy deliberately burned the brush in the area out of fear of any offensive operation by the resistance.
The Hezbollah operations room confirmed in its statement that, as of the date of this field summary, the enemy army has not been able to establish control or fully occupy any village from the frontline villages in southern Lebanon.
Regarding the rocket force, the statement confirmed that the rocket force in the Islamic resistance continues to target enemy gatherings in military sites and barracks along the Lebanese-Palestinian border, reaching military, strategic, and security bases deep in occupied Palestine with various types of missiles, including precision missiles used for the first time. It noted that the number of launch operations carried out by the rocket force over the past four days reached 103 operations, with a depth of up to 145 km to the southern suburbs of "Tel Aviv."
As for the air force, the statement indicated that the air force in the Islamic resistance—gradually escalating day by day—continues to target the enemy's military bases from the Lebanese-Palestinian border to deep in occupied Palestine. The total number of its operations from 17-09-2024 to date has reached 65 launch operations for more than 150 drones of various types and sizes, with 30 operations carried out in the past four days.
Regarding the Air Defense Unit, the statement said: The Islamic Resistance fighters in the Air Defense Unit carried out five surface-to-air missile launches at Zionist aircraft in the skies over southern Lebanon from October 24, 2024, to October 28, 2024.
