The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine today, Tuesday, from the leadership, cadres and supporters of Hezbollah, and from His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, the highest congratulations on the great confidence he received by assuming the duties of Secretary General of Hezbollah, succeeding the martyr leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who rose as a martyr on the path of Al-Quds in the Zionist arrogance's face.
The movement said in a press statement: "Sheikh Naim Qassem's assumption of the position of Secretary General of Hezbollah at this sensitive stage is an affirmation of the solidity of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, its regaining the initiative, and proof of its high ability to confront the enemy and hurt it, thwart its aggression and thwart its plans."
It added: "Over the years, we have known His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, who is highly competent , very keen to support the Palestinian resistance, and a support in all arenas required by the cause of Palestine and supporting its resistance. We are confident in his ability to handle this stage and manage the party's rudder towards victory at this sensitive stage."
It stressed her full support for the brothers in Hezbollah, shoulder to shoulder in the arenas of jihad and resistance, calling on God to guide the footsteps of Sheikh Naim Qassem, his brothers and all Hezbollah mujahideen, to grant them success and determination to continue the march until the occupation is defeated.
