Last night and Friday dawn, 47 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured, most of them children and women, in Zionist shelling on Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat and Zawaida in the centre of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, medical sources confirmed the arrival of 47 martyrs to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, in addition to dozens of injuries, following Israeli shelling on several areas and homes in Deir Al-Balah, Nuseirat and Zuwayda.
The agency quoted local sources as saying that the majority of the martyrs were killed in an Israeli shelling of several houses in Nuseirat whose residents were hosting their relatives from other areas, where the occupation forces shelled the houses the first time and after people rushed to help and inspect the effects of the shelling, they shelled them again, indicating that the search is still ongoing for missing persons under rescue.
A video clip showed Tamer Tamer Mohsen collapsing in tears while hugging his martyred mother in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, who was killed in the recent shelling on the central Gaza Strip, while some of those present at the scene tried to console him and calm him down.
